About the session: This workshop will give you the essentials to use 3D printers confidently, during your internship and beyond. In this hands-on session, you will learn the basic operating principles of the main 3D printing technologies available in our labs, how to choose the right printer and material for your application, and practical guidelines for designing parts that print well.
About Rut: Rut is a PhD student in the Physical Intelligence Department, with background in mechanical engineering and industrial design. She is working in the design and fabrication of active magnetic composites, developing frameworks to improve their functionality and manufacturability, to better meet the requirements of real-world applications. She also enjoys exploring ways of combining art and science.
